Tea at 7 O'clock is best
When there's no one else around
I can put on my slippers and creep downstairs
Without having to make a sound
Tea at 7 O'clock is best
When the brew is all nice and brown
The kettle boils much quicker for me
When I'm still in my dressing gown
Tea at 7 O'clock is best
With my dreams still warm in my head
I can sup and think of nothing much
While I'm tucked up cozy in bed.
