First the birds fell from the sky
Then the bombs
The Russians negotiated rights
The Israelis justified wrongs
While both left and right wings failed to fly.
The Americans built the golden dome
Around their golden arches
Every silver tongue
Spoke well
Of every target
And a single voice was heard
“Stop”
It said
